Abstract In Pannonia from 122 sites 9867 Central Gaulish samian are recorded so far. The greatest number of this pottery has been published the towns adjacent legionary fortress. is usually rare to find in cemeteries. quantity ware everywhere greater than that South samian. 90.66% terra sigillata Lezoux and 7.6% can be related workshops Les Martres de Veyre. There may also have a small imported Vichy, Terre Franche, Toulon sur Allier or Lubie. These samall production centres could considered as possibilities. group represented by 15 plain 2 decorated forms. chronologically divided into three large groups. earliest Trajanic period quite Pannonia; they occur only western part province. second chronological group, Hadrianic–early Antonine one total five times larger, group. third seven sigillata. Hadrian founded 8 9 municipiums Pannonia. new cities, mainly two provinial seats Carnuntum Aquincum had shipment Gaul. After Marcomannic wars (166–180 AD) Rheinzabern took over leading role on provincial markets.
